Do you teach steel-string or electric guitar making?
No. We specialize exclusively in classical (Spanish) and flamenco guitar
construction.

 

Do I need previous woodworking experience?
No — courses are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with
some woodworking or lutherie background.

 

Is accommodation really included?
Yes, free accommodation in one of our cabins is included on every course
— small group, individual, and VAWAA.

 

What's the difference between the Small Group and Individual course?
The Small Group course runs three times a year with a maximum of 3
students and follows a fixed 4-week schedule. The Individual course
follows the same structure but is one-to-one, can be booked any time of
year, and generally allows a little more time for finishing work.

 

Is airport transfer included?
Yes, from Córdoba airport only.

 

How much does a course cost?
Small Group: US$4,000 (max 3 people). Individual: US$5,500. VAWAA:
US$2,630 (booked via vawaa.com).

 

Are Materials and hard case included?

Materials and hardcase are not included in the build, there is a US$500

extra charge to cover the cost.

 

Will I finish my guitar during the course?
Your guitar will be completed and sanded by the end of week 4. French
polishing is a separate, longer process — it's beyond the scope of the
standard course, but you can arrange to extend your stay to learn it.
